Duties and Responsibilities:

A periodontist is a dentist that specializes in diseases of the gums and other structure surrounding the teeth. A periodontist diagnoses, prevents and treats gum disease. These specialty dentists work directly with patients

Salary: $200,000

Education:

 

Periodontists must first receive their general dentistry degree before they can move into a specialty area. Periodontists complete three additional years of dental school studying periodontics to receive a post-doctoral certificate in periodontics. Once they receive their certificate, their practice becomes limited to their specialty area.

-its important to know the people that you hang out with. because they have an influence in your life and it could affect you or benefits you. for eample if you go out and you know that is not a good place, but you still go and lets say that your friends did something bad and they get in trouble ,but you didnt do anything, the people around you its going to judge you the same way as them because you were around them. that  is why is important to walk with people that are going to help you and not to affect you.

Duties and responsibilities:

Dental technicians also called dental laboratory technicians manufacture dental prosthetic including bridges, crowns and dentures according to specifications dentists sent to them.

Salary: $36,000

Education:

Students interested in this field of work should focus their high school studies on math, science, information technology, wood shop and art. Many individuals learn how to become dental laboratory technicians through on-the-job training and by moving up through experience.
