Monitor surveillance observe the electrical activity of monitors in cardiac care units in hospitals. They operate monitoring computers, clean and maintain equipment, battery, and wiring systems.

Salary: $26,000-$41,000

Education:

The requirements to become a monitor surveillance technician: students should take math, science, and computer technology courses in high school.
